As a member of the State Allocation Board (SAB), Senator Janet Nguyen is pleased to announce that the SAB has unanimously approved the release of over $5.5 million in modernization grants for four local schools. The four schools receiving funding are Oak Middle School and Weaver Elementary School in the Los Alamitos Unified School District, as well as Warner Middle School and Johnson Middle School in the Westminster School District. Funding for these improvements was made possible through Proposition 51, a school bond approved by voters in the November 2016 election.
“Thanks to these modernization grants, these schools can implement projects that will enhance the learning experience of our students,” said Senator Janet Nguyen. “An investment in education not only improves the school setting for children and elevates the quality of instruction.”
