GARDEN GROVE, CA — Last Friday, the National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) announced their endorsement for Janet Nguyen in her race for reelection to State Senate. NFIB is the voice of small business, advocating on behalf of America’s small and independent business owners.
“These candidates reflect the clearest choice for small business in the June Primary and on the November General ballot,” said NFIB CA PAC Chair, Sunder Ramani. “We have full confidence that each of these candidates will bring a unique and powerful voice for small business under the Capitol dome in Sacramento.”
NFIB represents over 20,000 dues-paying small-business owners in California reflecting a cross-section of the state’s economy. The endorsement comes from the NFIB CA PAC, the organization’s political action committee, and is based on positions regarding key small-business policy issues including health care, taxes, labor, and regulatory issues.
State Senator Janet Nguyen was elected to represent the 34th District in 2014. Formerly, Janet was a small-business owner and Orange County Supervisor. She is former Vice-President of Government and Public Affairs for the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce.
